Segetis has several openings for Chemical and Product Development Engineers in Polymer and Materials Science fields. Responsibilities will include direct support of new product development and scale-up from laboratory through semi-works to the plant scale, interaction with toll manufacturers and providing help to resolve technical issues via timely lab work and data interpretation. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to development of catalyst and process/separations technology for conversion of key raw materials into useful intermediates for downstream products, evaluating process options, and conducting laboratory, pilot scale experiments and process modelling necessary for the development of a commercial process. Exceptional applicants with B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degree and relevant experience in process engineering, catalysis, polymer science, or related field will be considered.
Segetis is seeking highly motivated graduates with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry and Material Science. Their role will be to support efforts in polyester and polyurethane chemistry and in the process development for monomer synthesis. Practical hands-on experience in chemical synthesis and material characterization is preferred.
